In order to efficiently operate a data storage service, it is critical for the Customer to maintain an intimate understanding of the data contained on the DS-System.  Using a sophisticated system of customer-generated reporting, the Online File Summary tool cost-effectively and accurately cross-references and analyzes data already resident on the DS-System, which improves the management of backup sets.
